The McNair Scholars Program provides federally funded opportunities for underrepresented (minority and/or first generation, low-income) undergraduate students to conduct research and receive mentorship for up to two years. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to present their findings at national conferences while receiving personal and academic mentorship from faculty and staff. Other benefits include fee waivers for graduate school applications and stipends for completing research during the summer.
